ABOUT HOMESPUN

Homespun was thoughtfully designed to transport you away from the stress of the outside world. We offer a unique adaptation of European cooking methods, influenced by Asian, local and worldly flavours.

 

The Restaurant was built out of the creative mind of Matt Schreuder. After several years of experience in top Michelin star restaurants across the globe, Matt decided to open his dream restaurant in Cape Town: Homespun by Matt.

BOOK A TABLE

OUR SEATING AREAS

 

Our restaurant offers different types of seating. 

 

Should you book our High Bistro Style Table, you will be seated on high chairs with back and foot rests at our round dining table in the middle of the restaurant. 

 

Should you book the Bar Dining Counter, you will be seated on high chairs with back and foot rests at our fully serviced bar. Our Mixologist will keep you entertained as he creates unique cocktails using molecular gastronomy. 

 

Should you book the Window Dining Counter, you will be seated on high chairs with back and foot rests at our window counter. The window counter is an intimate dining area where you will have a beautiful view of Table Mountain. 

 

Should you book a Regular Table, you will be seated at one of our available regular tables. Please note that our booths seat a minimum of 5 guests. 

 

 

DEPOSIT POLICY

 

We require a deposit of R100 per guest in order to secure your reservation.

Non-payment of the deposit within 24 hours will result in the automatic cancellation of your provisional booking.

 

Should you cancel of modify your booking no later than 24 hours prior your reservation, you will receive a 100% refund of your deposit. 

 

Should you cancel or modify your booking within 24 hours of your reservation, the full deposit per cancelled or absent guest will be held. 

CORKAGE POLICY

Due to the careful selection of a wide variety of regions & blends, we only allow 1 bottle of corkage for 2 people and charge R75 per bottle.

Please note that we do not accept corkage of wines that are available on our wine list.

 

TIPS

 

A discretionary service charge of 10% will be automatically added to the bill for impeccable service.
